There’s something completely different about getting to shop a boutique in person.
As much as we LOVE our online store…markets give us a chance to actually meet the people shopping Sav Bay, help style pieces, show off new finds and bring the whole boutique to life for a day.
But getting there takes a little more work than loading up a clothing rack and calling it a day.
Behind every Sav Bay market is a whole lot of planning.
We’re thinking about clothing racks, jewelry displays, hats, bags, vintage pieces, signage, lighting, checkout, packaging — and somehow making all of it fit into one booth while still leaving enough room for people to actually shop.
One of our favorite parts is figuring out how to make the booth feel like Sav Bay.
Our style is a mix of clean and elevated with a little fun mixed in, so we want our market setup to feel the same way. Think warm neutrals, chocolate brown, cream, gold details, pretty displays and plenty of personality from the products themselves.
And then there’s inventory.
Markets are one of the reasons we’re expanding Sav Bay again. We want you to be able to walk into our booth and find a little bit of everything — clothing, jewelry, accessories, hats, bags, vintage finds, handmade items and those random little things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.
The setup process may be a little chaotic behind the scenes, but seeing everything come together makes it worth it.
We’ll be sharing our upcoming market dates on the website, along with plenty of behind-the-scenes content while we prepare.
